What is payment routing?
Payment routing enables you to automatically convert all incoming funds into a particular currency. For example, you might want all of your incoming Euros/GBP to be immediately converted into bitcoin without needing to trade. No problem!
Want to auto-convert bitcoin payments straight into GBP /Euros instead? We've got that covered too. 👍
How to enable payment routing
From the home screen, tap the cog icon ⚙️ in the bottom right corner to open the settings page.
Next, tap the ‘Payment routes’ button.
Select which account you would like to set up. In the below example, British Pound (GBP) account has been selected.
By selecting the 'British Pound' account, you can set up how you want to handle incoming British Pound payments.
Receive Payments
You can enable payment routing to automatically convert all incoming GBP payments to your bitcoin account (or vice versa). To do this simply:
Toggle the button to the right.
Use the dropdown to select the BTC account from the list.
Any incoming GBP payments will now be automatically converted into bitcoin. You will find them in your bitcoin balance.
Deposits
You also have the option to route your GBP deposits straight to your BTC account. To do this:
Toggle the 'activate for deposits' button to the right.
This will auto-convert all GBP deposits (open banking, manual transfer or standing orders) straight to your bitcoin account!
