Viewing your linked mobile number and email address
You can view your linked mobile number and email address in the 'My profile' section of the app:
Tap on your username or photo in the top left of your Home Screen to open the 'My profile' page.
Tap the pencil icon at the top right of the screen to edit your profile.
Scroll down to view your mobile number and email under the 'Private' section.
Changing your mobile number
You can't change your linked Mobile number in the Bottlepay app. If you need to change your linked Mobile Number, please contact our support team.
Changing your email address (no access to the linked email account)
If you don't have access to the linked email address and need to change it, you will also need to contact our support team for assistance.
Changing your email address (with access to the linked email account)
If you do have access to your linked email account then you can change it to a new email address as follows:
Firstly, tap 'add email address'.
Next, enter the email address you want to add.
You will then be asked to verify this new email via your existing email address.
Click 'Open my email' to launch your email client, then click the link to verify.
Back in the Bottlepay app you will be asked to verify your new email address. Again click 'Open my email' to launch your email client, then click the link to verify.
Finally, back in the Bottlepay app once more, you can select 'Make Primary' and then 'Confirm' to make this your primary email address.
This will now be the primary email address for your account which we will use to communicate with you and send recovery codes.
To delete any unwanted secondary email addresses
Tap the 'x' next to any secondary email address, then tap 'Confirm'.
